Ilan Guest

Ilan is a Professional Town Planner and GIS Specialist with over 25 years’ experience, ranging from spatial policy, rural development and strategic spatial planning to heritage and training/education. He has a depth of experience in GIS and spatial data applications for various levels of development planning.
Ilan completed his Master’s Degree in City Planning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia USA, as a Fulbright Scholar with specialisation in GIS and Remote Sensing in 2008.
He is also an external lecturer to the Town Planning Department at University Pretoria, where he focuses on topics around regional/rural development and the role of GIS and spatial data applications for the planning profession.
